In October 1994, the Kwara State Government gave an approval to the establishment of an educational initiative. This was the Effective Teaching and Learning Center, which was situated at the GRA, Ilorin. Our Academic Curriculum
The college runs a six-year programme divided into two sections - The Junior Secondary School (JSS) and the Senior Secondary School (SSS) in accordance with the National Policy on Education, simply described as the 6-3-3-4 system of education. Adulqudus Shuaib of Effective International College (Kwara State) was the best performing Nigeria student at the recently concluded International Junior Science Olympiads IJSO 2013 in Pune, India.
